Proximate
Analyzer (Automatic)
5e-mac-gii |
|
|
The 5E-MAC-GII Automatic
Proximate Analyzer is used
to determine the moisture,
ash, volatile matter and fix
carbon in coal and coke. It
can also determine ash and
slag combustibles in
accordance with ASTM D
5142-90. The analyzer has
separate units for
moisture/ash and volatile.
The separate volatile unit
has a furnace already at the
required standard
temperature in which the
samples are raised into this
furnace compartment to give
a ¡°true¡± volatile burn-off
for 7 minutes as previous
proximate analyzers do not
have this feature. |
|

5E-MAC-GII |
|
|
|
Features |
|
-
The instrument is made of
two parts, which can work
simultaneously or
separately.
The moisture and ash is
determined by the double
furnace and the volatile
matter is determined by
the single furnace with a
cooling chamber. The
analysis time for
moisture, ash and volatile
matter determinations for
19 samples is
approximately 180 minutes.
-
Equipped with two built-in
electronic balances of
0.0001gram resolution, the
weighing process is
automatic and samples are
continuously weighed to a
constant mass.
-
The analyzer uses
windows-based software for
automatic control and
sample entry.
An Access Database is used
to store results which
allows for easy retrieval
of results.

CALORIMETER
5e-1 c/m |
|
The 5E-1C/M Calorimeter is
used to determine the
calorific value of solid and
liquid combustibles. This
calorimeter is controlled by
a SCM (Single Chip
Microprocessor) and has an
integrated control, display
panel and printer in a
compact unit. The 5E-1C/M
has a memory which can store
over 500 new analysis
results. |
|
|
The results can be exported
as a report format.An
optional feature of this
calorimeter is the
Correction Cooling Formula
(GB, Regnault-Faulder or
Bentle). After five analyses
for heat capacity, enter the
code, and the heat capacity
will be calculated
automatically, and the
cooling constant value,
complex constant value will
be saved for future
analysis. |
 |
|
|
The SCM controls all of the
functions of the
calorimeter, these include:
temperature, mixing,
ignition, results display,
calculation of heat
capacity, bomb calorific
value and gross and net
calorific values. |

Sulfur
Analyzer
(Automatic)
5e-8s/a ii |
|
The 5E-8S/A II Automatic Sulfur
is an updated model of the
5E-8S, and is used to determine
total sulfur content of coal and
heavy oil. |
|
|
|
5E-8S/A II |
|
Features |
|
-
The analysis process is
automatic: one carousel holds
from 1 to 24 samples. The
system automatically weighs
the sample, loads and unloads
from the furnace, completes
the analysis in the Coulomb
reaction chamber, and saves
the results
which can be automatically
printed out.
-
Equipped with a special low
voltage device and PID
temperature controlling
technology to expand the life
of the heating elements.
-
Equipped with dynamic single,
double and multipoint
(optional) calibration methods
to ensure correct analysis of
different sulfur contents
